Virgin Media gets 'appy with PushLife

Music app landing from the media giant
Virgin Media gets 'appy with PushLife

Virgin Media has jumped head-first into the app game with the launch of PushLife - a dedicated music app designed to compliment the Virgin Media Music Store.

The free app is available for Android and BlackBerry devices (bad luck fanboys) and will let you sync your music library onto your mobile (including iTunes libraries), mess around with playlists and the like, as well as letting you share your listening habits through Facebook and Twitter.

The app will also provide recommendations, and let you read up on your favourite artists with bios and info on board.

You can buy tunes from the Virgin Media Music Store directly through the PushLife app and if you’ve already subscribed to a music bundle it will work out how many downloadable tracks you've got left.

Jonathan Kini, director of mobile at Virgin Media said:

"We’re thrilled to be the first to bring the PushLife application to our customers. We’ve integrated the app with our existing mobile music store to make it simpler for customers to get the most out of the service and access music through their mobiles wherever they are".

"Now customers will have complete control over their music, and a great range of handsets to choose from enabling them to enjoy their music collections wherever they are".

PushLife is available now and won't cost you a penny.
