Motorola announced Wednesday that it has acquired Zecter. While Zecter is perhaps best known for its original ZumoDrive service ? a cloud-based file storage and sync product that emerged in a cluster of similar services following the success of Dropbox ? Motorola appears to be far more interested in the service’s ability to store and stream media files on demand.
