Samsung and Verizon announce Samsung 4G LTE Smartphone

Verizon and Samsung have just announced a device with no name. Yes, you read that right. At this point the device is simply named Samsung 4G LTE Smartphone. The specs for this Samsung 4G LTE Smartphone look pretty sweet and it's the first device to market with Samsungs new Super AMOLED Plus display. It does however lack dual core and comes loaded with TouchWiz for better or worse but hey, no Bing.

  • Android 2.2
  • Google Mobile services, including Google Search
    Google Maps and Gmail, YouTube
  • Brilliant 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus touch screen display
  • 1GHz application processor
  • Rear-facing 8-megapixel camera with LED flash
  • Front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera to support video chat capabilities
  • Samsung Social Hub and Media Hub.

Any takers on this one? Stay tuned, hopefully we can get some hands on love with this peculiar little device. Press release can be found after the break.
