Dell Venue hands-on

CES 2011: We get put in a dark room with the new Android smartphone
Dell Venue hands-on

Dell has announced the Dell Venue, a keyboardless Dell Venue Pro for the Android community, and Pocket-lint was at the Dell presser in Las Vegas to have a quick and dirty fumble.

The new phone will have a sharp and crisp 4.1-inch AMOLED screen that will bedazzle you in the same way as the Samsung Galaxy S.

Called the Dell Venue, the Android 2.2 phone has a 1GHz processor and runs Dell’s Stage software, a similar offering to the Dell Streak range of tablets from the company.

In our quick play, the phone seemed quick to respond, whizzing through menus with ease.

Sporting Gorilla Glass you should be able to drop it without too much concern, However that was something that Dell weren’t too happy about us trying.?
